Qualifications & Career
Bakhtiar graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia with Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) on May 2011 and with Bachelor of Laws (Shariah)(LLB.S) (Hons) on May 2012. He then read law in the chamber of Messrs. Ghazi & Lim, Kuala Lumpur from June 2012 until March 2013. He was subsequently admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 17th of May, 2013.
Experience
Bakhtiar was retained as a junior Legal Assistant for a period of one (1) year at Messrs. Ghazi & Lim, He then served as a Legal Assistant in Messrs Chung, Huang & Khalid, Kuala Lumpur from 1st of May 2014 until 3rd of March 2015. Starting from June 2015 until 29th July 2022, Mr. Bakhtiar had joined Messrs Kamarul Arifin Wafa & Associates primarily as a Legal Assistant, and was later made a partner of the said firm.
Starting from 1st of August 2022 until today, Mr Bakhtiar has become a partner of Messrs Faiz, Bakhtiar & Isamuddin and manages the firm’s Seremban branch.
Areas of Practice
Bakhtiar’s experience in civil litigation field is wide and extensive which covers the areas of general litigation, banking, running-down cases, family matters, probate and administration matters and criminal defense works; among others.
To-date, he also practices as a syarie counsel in the states of Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Selangor and Federal territories involving mal (syariah general litigation matters) and syariah criminal matters.
